Tunnel

Tunnel (トンネル^?, Tonneru) is the 3rd Endless Game in Rhythm Heaven, unlocked with 12 Medals.

Gameplay[]

In this game, the player must hit the cowbell with the stick in time to the beat of the music, and keep it consistent for as long as they can. The game begins with a count as help (1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2). The driver occasionally drives through tunnels which muffle or completely silence the music to throw the player off the beat.

As the player progresses, the woman drives through more areas with unique sceneries. The frequency of tunnels also increases.

Tap: Hit Cowbell

Timing Display[]

Perfect!/Ace!: The player hits the cowbell on the beat.
Early!/Late!: The player hits the cowbell slightly off the beat, causing the woman to make a worried look.
Miss...: The player hits the cowbell completely off the beat, or misses a beat, causing the woman to stop the car immediately. She looks angrily at the player, and the game is over.

Trivia[]

Two of the backgrounds feature the Stomp Farmer and Moai Kids, respectively.
Once the player has driven far enough, billboards with the number (555) PECK-YES (2♪21♪98^?) appear in the background. This number can be entered into the Phone.
The count at the start is reused in Remix 4 and Remix 10 in the Munchy Monk sections, but is shorter.
