In this game, the player controls a monkey that hits a switch with a hammer to release a ball into the air. The Penguins appear from the right side, and jump on the beat. The player needs to launch the ball such that the penguins can catch them in the air. There are three penguins that will show up:
The grey penguin. (3 Beats)
The small, white penguin. (Same as the first, but with a bouncier rhythm)
Perfect!/Ace!: The crowd applauds as the penguin catches the ball and lands on the podium. The balls sometimes opens tiny parachutes, making the penguins fly down.
Early!/Late!: The crowd laughs as the ball is released off the rhythm. The penguin can't reach it, and it falls into the water. The monkey looks worried.
Miss...: The crowd laughs as the ball is not released and the penguin falls into the water.
