Screwbot Factory |
Robot assembly is a precise task. You'll need to tighten the final screw just the right amount. |
Rhythm Heaven Megamix |
Screwbot Factory (ロボット工場・ネジ?, Robot Kojo - Neji), known in Rhythm Heaven Fever as Screwbot Factory (ロボット工場?, Robot Kojo), is the 2nd Rhythm Game of Stage 1 (2nd overall) in Rhythm Heaven Fever and the 1st of Shop No. 5 (103rd overall), costing 4 Flow Balls, in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
The arrange version, Screwbot Factory 2, appears in Stage 9 in Rhythm Heaven Fever.
Gameplay[]
The player controls a claw that is used to screw in the robot's head onto their bodies. The robots brought onto a conveyor belt and moved under the claw. The player must not only grab the robot with the claw at the right time, but also screw the head just the right amount before letting go for the robot to properly activate. Screwing them on too tight or not enough will not make them break. There are two types of robots: grey robots that must be screwed in for three beats, and white robots that must be screwed in for two beats.
Controls[]
Rhythm Heaven Fever[]
- Ⓐ: Nudge claw left
- Ⓑ: Nudge claw right
- Ⓐ+Ⓑ (Hold): Drop claw (start screwing)
- Ⓐ+Ⓑ (Release): Release claw (stop screwing)

Timing Display[]
- Perfect!/Ace!: The claw grabs the robots head in time, and screws it in correctly. The robot raises its arms and a heart to lights up on its body. The gray ones shout "Oh yeah!" (ヤッタ!?, Yatta!) while the white ones say "Let's go!" (ヨッシャ!?, Yossha!).
- Early!/Late!: The claw grabs the robot at an angle, causing a popping sound. Releasing too early makes the robot's head stick a sideways position, with the robot frowning. Releasing too late causes the robot's body to crack, sending it down the conveyor belt with blank white eyes and a dazed stance.
- Miss...: Missing the robot's head entirely causes it to go by on the conveyor belt. Hitting it way too early or way too late causes it to fall over. Releasing while screwing a robot causes it to fall over sideways. In Rhythm Heaven Fever, releasing one of the two buttons while screwing causes the claw to release the robot from one side, causing it to fall over sideways. Screwing the head too far in causes the body to lift up and start turning, eventually sending the broken robot down the conveyor belt as it falls over.

On my night rounds, I found a loose screw on the ground. It's not the kind the robots use, and none of the machines seem to be missing a screw. I'm getting paranoid about it... |

Trivia[]
- Screwbot Factory is the successor to Fillbots from Rhythm Heaven. Both involve making robots.
- Fillbots and Screwbot Factory share the same name in many languages. As both are present in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, their names were altered to differentiate them. In the case of Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+, Fillbots got the word オイル (Oiru?, Oil) while this game got ネジ (Neji?, Screw). In other languages, this game was renamed while Fillbots retains it's original name.
- This is the only game in Rhythm Heaven Fever where pressing Ⓑ on it's own has any effect.
- The icon for this game in Rhythm Heaven Megamix is the icon for Screwbot Factory 2, even tho Megamix does not have that game. The title card, gameplay, and epilogue are still the same from the original game.
