Night Walk 2 (ナイトウォーク 2 Night Walk 2?) is the 40th game and a sequel to Night Walk in Rhythm Tengoku. The game plays the same as before with the addition of Biribiriuo floating in the air.

Night Walk 2 gameplay

The gameplay for this game is identical to its prequel, but this time there are electric fish floating in the air. All you have to do to avoid a fish is to not to jump into it. If you hit it, it will zap you and you will fall down, giving a "Try Again" rating.

  • A: Jump

Timing Notes

  • Hit: Play-Yan jumps from the box, sending out a plant with either a heart, lollipop, or umbrella on it.
  • Barely: Play-Yan will jump, but the heart and jump will be lower then a Hit and the text "NG", possibly standing for "Not Good" will appear. A barely counts as a miss.
  • Miss: Play-Yan will walk by the box, sending out a music note. This does not actually count as a miss on its own. If the player does not jump from a box on the edge of a platform, Play-Yan will fall off the platform. If this happens, the game will immediately end, giving you a "Try Again" rating. This can also happen if you don't open enough boxes before the goal, in which case the goal will not open, and Play-Yan will walk past it to eventually fall off. Additionally, if the player jumps from a box with an Biribiriuo floating over it, Play-Yan will get zapped and fall down after the block he is floating over breaks.

Rating Notes

  • "星の声" (Voices of the stars)

Try Again

  • "おっこちちゃったね..." (You fell, eh...?)

  • "う~ん..." (Yeah...)
  • "まぁまぁ、 かな。" (OK, I guess?)
  • "とりあえず..." (Anyway...)
  • "よしと します。" (You did your best.)

  • "ゴール おめでとう!!" (Congratulations on the goal!!)

  • This game has the same rating notes as its prequel.
  • Like in the prequel, the layout of the steps are randomized in different playthroughs of this game, but the fish's position remains the same.
  • The textures for Biribiriuo from this game are present in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, fully updated, but the actual object is not coded into the game.
