"I love tap!" |
The Giraffe (キリン?, Kirin) is a white giraffe with orange polka dots that appears in the Rhythm Game Tap Trial.
Giraffes also appear in Animal Acrobat and Jungle Gymnast, where the monkeys swing on them.
Story[]
The Giraffe of Tap Trial is a friend of the monkeys, and is very impressionable and expressive. However, the monkeys find it annoying how it stands next to them as they stoically tap dance. After a while, the monkeys seem to have secretly changed their practice location without telling the giraffe[1].

Trivia[]
- The Giraffe usually doesn't show up in Tap Trial in Remixes. However, sprites for it still exist in Remix 7 (the pig version) and Songbird Remix. In the Remix 7/Remix 8 version, the Giraffe is replaced with a dragon, and in Tap Trial 2, a camel. Neither of them ever appear onscreen, although interestingly the prologue for Tap Trial 2 does include the camel's legs.
