Built to Scale 2 (組み立て2 lit. Assembly 2) is the 38th minigame in Rhythm Heaven Fever. It is the sequel to Built to Scale. In this sequel, there are more widgets to assemble, the tempo changes more, and the first widget in each pattern is on the offbeat.

Visual/Gameplay Changes

The background is now teal instead of green.
Built to Scale 2 Wii gameplay

The gameplay is nearly identical to that of the first Built to Scale; bounce the rod when it hits the red block and shoot it into the Widget parts when they line up. The major difference is that the first rod that bounces eight times is now on the offbeat, and three Widgets must be assembled in each sequence. The third one only bounces on two rods before requiring assembly. The speed of the song also changes as the third rod is bouncing, and stays until the next third rod of a sequence. This leads to the tempo changing many times throughout the song.

  • A: Bounce Rod
  • A + B: Spring Rod

Timing Notes

  • Hit: The rod is perfectly bounced and moves to the next. While pressing A+B, the spring hits the rod and connects the widget parts together.
  • Barely: The rod slightly bounces on the block. For pressing A+B, the rod will slightly fall down while touching the spring. A barely counts as a miss.
  • Miss: The rod falls down and never makes contact with the widget.
